Our policy is based on the notion that a school uniform:
Pupils in Nursery School should wear a Foundation Stage T-shirt or sweatshirt, but are free to wear sensible clothing otherwise.
Boys: Red sweatshirt, navy polo shirt, navy blue trousers (not black or light blue), navy shorts in summer, practical black shoes, indoor shoes or plimsolls.
Girls: Red sweatshirt or cardigan, navy polo shirt, navy blue skirt or trousers, red summer dress, black shoes (no heels or boots), indoor shoes or plimsolls.
PE: School navy blue T-shirt, navy shorts, warm tracksuit top and trousers, trainers.
Please note: trousers need to be plain school trousers and not jeans or jogging bottoms. If you need any advice on where to purchase school uniform, please let the office know.
The school does not allow children to wear jewellery on health and safety grounds. There are two exceptions, however. These are stud earrings in pierced ears, and small objects of religious significance where this has been agreed with the Headteacher. In both cases, we ask the children either to remove these objects during PE and games lessons, or to cover earrings with a plaster. Children should not wear make-up or coloured nail varnish.
The school strongly advises that children do not have extreme haircuts that could serve as a distraction to other children. Examples include patterns shaved into hair, dyed or highlighted hair.
Please Note: Free delivery on all orders over £60. All orders under £60 will incur a £4.75 carriage charge (UK mainland only).
