Uniform for Years 7-11

The following uniform is appropriate for pupils between Years 7-11:

Blazers:  Black, with a School crest

Shirts: White

Ties: School tie

Pullovers: Grey or black and V-necked 

Trousers:  Black or dark grey and of conventional cut and design

Shoes: Black, leather, business style, clean and in a reasonable state of repair. Boots, plimsolls, trainers or suede shoes are not acceptable. Trainers are only worn for playing games at lunchtimes.  In exceptional circumstances families should contact the Head of Year for authorisation of alternative footwear.

Socks: Plain dark grey

Scarves: Should be plain and not worn in School

Hats: In extreme weather only, sensible headgear,  may be worn outdoors

Outdoor coats: Should not be worn in School Buildings

Games Kit

PE polo shirt with embroidery

PE shorts with embroidery

White socks

Tracksuit top and  tracksuit bottom (School design)

Rugby jersey (green/black with red inside)

Rugby shorts (black with embroidery)

Green and black sock

Rugby/football boots (kitemarked safety studs for rugby)

Jewellery:

No item of jewellery should be worn to school. This includes all earrings, studs  and sleepers. Students who have piercings which require studs to be kept in for a specified period of time will be sent home, even if the piercing is covered by a plaster.
