It is our school policy that all children wear school uniform when attending school, or when participating in school-organised events outside normal school hours. We ask children to wear their shirts tucked into their skirts or trousers and to take a pride in their personal appearance.

WINTER:

Grey skirt/pinafore dress/trousers (not jogging bottoms)

St Mary’s school tie

White Shirt

Navy blue sweatshirt or cardigan with St Mary’s School logo

Plain grey or white socks (not over the knee) or black, navy or grey tights

Shoes flat, black and appropriate for school

SUMMER – optional

Grey shorts

Blue and white checked/striped dress with collar and short sleeves

Please ensure that shirt and dress lengths are appropriate and of a style which allows pupils to sit comfortably and modestly on the floor.

Your child should wear shoes which they can manage to do up independently and give them the freedom to run in the playground (not trainers or boots).

PE KIT

Navy blue loose fit shorts (not cycling shorts)

Royal blue t-shirt with St Mary’s School logo

Plimsolls or plain trainers (velcro fastenings are essential for younger children)

Navy jogging bottoms and sweatshirt for outdoor PE lessons

PE kit needs to be kept in school in a drawstring bag. PE Bags and Book Bags may be purchased from our supplier.

For health and safety reasons children are not permitted to wear earrings for PE.
