Uniform for Classes 3, 4, 5 and 6

We encourage the wearing of school uniform in order to give the children a pride in their appearance and in the school.   School uniform also gives individual identity on our educational visits.

We try to keep our uniform as simple as possible. White shirts, jumpers and cardigans embroidered with the school logo are available from Mapac.  They also supply many other uniform items as well as selling our PE bags and book bags.

WINTER UNIFORM

Girls:       Grey skirt, pinafore dress or trousers, white shirt, tie, royal blue cardigan or sweatshirt with school logo, white or grey socks and black shoes.

Boys:     Grey trousers, white shirt, tie, royal blue sweatshirt or jumper with logo, grey socks and black shoes.

Boys & Girls:        Black shoes should be of a sensible design.   Trainers are not suitable for school wear.

SUMMER UNIFORM

Girls:       Royal blue and white checked or striped dress or smart grey shorts and short sleeved shirt.

Boys:      Grey shorts can be worn, along with a short sleeved white shirt.

In the hot weather we do not expect children to wear a tie.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION KIT

Boys & Girls:        Royal blue shorts, yellow polo shirt with logo, black plimsolls (for indoor PE) and trainers (for outdoor PE).

Blue jogging trousers can be used for games lessons during the winter.

It is very important that all items of clothing are clearly marked with the child’s name.   We do not accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal property of pupils.   We have a lost property box, but it is much easier to return garments when they are named.

Classes R, 1, and 2 Uniform

OUTDOOR WEAR

Boys & Girls:        Pupils in Class R require a pair of Wellington boots to be kept at school for

outdoor lessons and play.
