School Uniform Policy
The Oakfield School uniform is royal blue, white, navy and grey. We encourage the wearing of school uniform to establish a standard of dress and for easy recognition of children in out-of-school activities.
All items of clothing must be named.
Jewellery (other than Sikh bracelets) is not allowed in school. For safety reasons, children who have pierced ears may not wear earrings in school at any time.
In the interest of hygiene and safety all children must have appropriate kit and change for PE. PE is done in bare feet as recommended by the LA PE advisor. Oakfield PE T-shirts and shorts and plimsolls (preferably with elasticated fronts for younger children) for outside work are kept in school in a PE bag. Children in Years 1, 2, 3 and 4 also need tracksuits and suitable footwear for outside games. For swimming (summer term) children need a swimming costume or bathing trunks, a large towel and a pair of rubber flip-flops. Every person in the swimming pool must wear a swimming cap to prevent hair clogging the filters. Goggles may be worn for health reasons.
Please Note: Free delivery on all orders over £60. All orders under £60 will incur a £4.75 carriage charge (UK mainland only).
