By “clean and smart”, we mean regularly washed/cleaned and in good order/state of repair.
By “extremes of fashion”, we mean any style of clothing, footwear or makeup that is not considered traditional school uniform.
By “trousers”, we mean traditional trousers, not jeans, denim, or skin-tight trousers and not leggings.
By “shoes”, we mean a traditional shoe, not trainers. Any boots should be of ankle height only, worn under trousers and not worn with a school skirt.
N.B.
We would advise that all valuable items and/or those of sentimental value be left at home to avoid loss or damage.
Where a pupil is not conforming with the school’s uniform policy, they may be asked to remove the item(s) concerned and they should comply with this reasonable request.
Interpretation of the uniform policy rests with the Academy Headteacher whose decision is final.
