Welcome to St Martin’s Infant School Uniform webpage. You can purchase your school's uniform in confidence knowing that these items of uniform have been carefully selected by your school to ensure that you receive good quality and hardwearing uniform. The prices represent excellent value for money from a company you can trust.

Our school colours are blue, white and grey. We have a school uniform for a variety of reasons. These include giving the children a sense of pride in their school, giving a school identity and a sense of belonging and membership. We want our pupils to be smart ambassadors for the schools when they are out and about in the community.

EYFS, Years 1 and 2

•  Royal blue pinafore, royal blue skirt or grey trousers/shorts
•  White blouse or white polo shirt
•  Royal blue and white check summer dress
•  Royal blue cardigan/sweatshirt/jumper
•  White ankle or knee length socks, grey or black socks (not trainer socks)
•  Navy blue, grey or white tights (not to be worn with socks)

As above with the exception that polo shirts are no longer permitted and are replaced by a white shirt and school tie (a white blouse is still permitted).
Please ensure that all items of clothing, along with any other items brought into school, are clearly named.

P.E.

•  Plain white t-shirt or polo shirt (for sports day in Years 3 to 6 a t-shirt in house colours is required)
•  Black plimsolls (these are not required from Year 3 onwards)
•  Trainers in Years 3 to 6 for field use
•  Blue shorts
•  Jogging suit (preferably royal blue) for outdoor sport in winter

All kit kept in a named P.E. bag, and kept in school through the week and washed regularly.
Shoes: Sensible dark coloured, flat healed, leather shoes should be worn for normal school hours. Trainers, boots, ballet type shoes and sling-backed heels are not acceptable. Open toed shoes are not permitted for safety reasons (as a guide - if they can’t be polished then they are unlikely to be shoes).

Book bag: Children in EYFS, Years 1 and 2 should have a blue book bag.
Art: An art shirt or overall is needed for craft activities to be kept in school all week. An old adult shirt is acceptable.

Hair styles: Shoulder length or longer hair must be tied up with a blue, grey or white hair band. All hair styles should be appropriate to a primary school environment i.e. without effects like tram lines and Mohicans.

Makeup and nail varnish: These are not permitted.

Religious and cultural customs: The schools will take into consideration religious and cultural customs where parents make a request for a reasonable adjustment to the current school uniform. Such requests must be made in writing for the attention of the Executive Leadership Team who will consider the request.
