Due to the nature of the EYFS curriculum, children in Sprite class spend 50% of
their time outside, regardless of weather conditions. Children in sprite class need
the following additional items:
Navy blue tracksuit bottoms
School t-shirt with the school logo*
School sweatshirt or cardigan with the school logo *
School Fleece with the school logo *
Suitable black school shoes (not trainers or boots)
Wellington Boots
Grey trousers or grey shorts Plain white shirt with a collar (not a polo-shirt) Grey/White socks School sweatshirt with the school logo * School tie* Suitable black school shoes(not trainers or boots)

All children need a weatherproof outdoor coat, preferably with a hood. In the winter months we request that during snowy conditions your child is dressed suitably for the playground – this includes having a second pair of shoes to be worn outside, such as Wellingtons; tracksuit bottoms / waterproof trousers; gloves, hat and scarf. You may wish to send them in with spare socks or tights. In summer months we insist that all children come to school with a hat and are wearing sunscreen. Jewellery, other than stud earrings and watches (when children are able to tell the time), is not permitted in School. Children with long hair must have it tied back. Make-up, nail varnish and body art are not permitted.

Stud earrings must be removed or taped before PE lessons. All articles of school uniform must be clearly labelled with the child’s name on it. Equipment All children in Foundation and KS1 are expected to have a Chenies book bag* with their name clearly marked on it. Children in KS2 are expected to have: A small pencil case A HB pencil A Berol Handwriting Pen (ready for when they are told they can use them) A 30cm ruler with millimetres included A small rubber A small pencil sharpener A glue stick A set of colouring pencils (a choice of 10 colours is more than adequate)
Please note ties cannot be purchased from the website, you must contact the School Office. The cost of a tie is £3.40.
