School Uniform

At South Hill School we believe that school uniform is advantageous to self-discipline, social cohesion and well–being.  All parents, carers and pupils are requested to ensure that all pupils follow the school dress code.  We are very proud of our pupils and of the way they are dressed at school.

Approved School Uniform for all Pupils

·           Bottle Green fleece with school crest

·           Bottle Green Sweatshirt (with or without school crest) or cardigan

·           White shirt or polo-shirt

·           Grey skirt or pinafore or grey trousers

·           A school tie (green and white stripped, is available). This is usually only worn for photographs and special occasions at school e.g. school concerts, harvest festival

·           White, grey, black or green socks or tights

·           Footwear: Outdoor - Black, brown, grey or navy school shoes

                         Indoor -    All pupils are requested to wear indoor footwear

                                          (different from what they wear outdoors)

Warm Weather Uniform

Short sleeved white shirt / polo shirt or blouse (with or without school crest)

Grey shorts

Green and white striped or checked school dress

Sun hat

Outside wear

Coat or jacket for outdoor break and lunchtimes

PE and Games wear – Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and 2

White T shirt (with or without crest)

Bottle green or white shorts

White ankle socks

Black / white plimsolls or trainers

Football shirts are not to be worn for PE / gymnastics

Key Stage 2 pupils

Pupils will have an opportunity of participating in the following games, netball, rugby, cross-country running, cricket and football both in lessons and in after school clubs.
