School uniform encouraged by the Governors, is popularly considered to be desirable, smart and serviceable and worn by 100% of the children.

The Governors of the school discussed at length parental preferences concerning the school uniform and have decided that it shall be:‑

White polo shirts with collar or white blouses/shirts

                Grey skirts, shorts or school style trousers

                Royal blue school

sweatshirts/cardigans                                                                                                                        

                Socks ‑ white for girls, grey for boys

                Black enclosed shoes

                High heels and trainers are not acceptable.

 Games/PE

Black shorts and t-shirts

 Navy sweatshirt and jogging bottom tracksuit, trainers for outdoor games.

Royal blue and white gingham/striped dresses are allowed for the girls in the warmer terms.  

At times, certain fashions might not be considered safe in the school situation or in keeping with the ethos of the school and parents will be notified of this individually or by school newsletters.   Parents and children are expected to comply with the school's wishes and Governors' decisions.

Jewellery such as rings, bracelets and necklaces are not allowed.   If a child has pierced ears they must only wear studs for health and safety reasons, which must be removed or covered with tape for P.E.   No other body piercing will be tolerated in school.

Extreme hairstyles such as crew-cuts, tramlines and hair colouring are not permitted.

It is essential that clothing is clearly marked with your child's name as identification can prove difficult, time‑wasting for all concerned and costly for parents when lost.   Parents are welcome to visit the school to search in the lost property containers for mislaid items of clothing.
